Do you have a flair for creative writing and an eye for detail? We’re on the lookout for a marketing executive to be part of the team in Manchester.

We’re a top UK digital agency working with more big brands and household names than ever before. We work with clients on their digital strategy and help them engage with the customer more effectively. Our client base is growing so we’re expanding the team.

You’ll be creating all kinds of content from blog articles, PR, social to working on award submissions and making sure the brand and tone of voice guidelines are being used. A key part of this role is to support the Marketing Manager with lead generation campaigns as well as making sure all content created is relevant, exciting and Kagool.

Your day at Kagool will include crafting creative content used across the Kagool site, social channels and marketing channels.

Here’s some of what you’ll be doing:

  • Writing content for collateral including; website content, press releases, drafting content for award submissions, case study content, email marketing activity, social media amplification
  • Research and data analysis for regular marketing campaigns
  • Recruitment marketing including: working with HR for weekly vacancies, publish new roles and amplification for job boards and socials
  • Reporting – social media stats, market research, use of analytic tools including Google, Moz, CRM
  • Awards – Keep up to date with award opportunities, drafting content for submissions.
  • Social media – Keeping up to date with relevant social conversations, sharing relevant posts
  • Events – working with the marketing manager to plan and run internal / external events
  • Governance – Updating materials, tracking marketing time, meet brand guidelines and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Managing content through a CMS

About you:

  • Excellent English writing skills and ability to write engaging content
  • Bright, energetic, outgoing and ambitious, with excellent academic qualifications
  • A good understanding of digital marketing, social media and SEO
  • Experience of SEO, PPC and social media
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to question briefs for content production
  • Capable of prioritising multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Experience of working with a CMS (WordPress)
  • Familiar with Hubspot
