Gartner has positioned Sitecore as a ‘Challenger’ in the 2015 Magic Quadrant for Horizontal Portals
For the second year in a row, the Gartner Magic Quadrant has placed Sitecore in the quadrant of ‘Challengers’ for Horizontal Portals. Gartner states, “A horizontal portal offering is a software application or service that can be used to create and manage portals for a wide range of purposes.” A portal can be simply described as a personalised point of access to relevant information.
Similar to the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management (WCM) earlier this year, Sitecore still trumps Adobe in their ability to execute. They were placed as a ‘Leader’ in WCM. Sitecore was also positioned as a ‘Visionary’ in Multichannel Campaign Management and in Digital Marketing Hubs.
