Accountable for the growth, retention, and strategic direction of a high value client portfolio; the Group Account Director (GAD) leads and maintains the relationship between a portfolio of client(s) and the company. As a trusted advisor to their client(s), they are experts in their clients’ brand and business, understanding their business challenges and how they can be overcome through effective engagement with Delete and our expert consultants.

As a coach and leader to teams, the GAD fosters the optimum conditions where people can thrive and produce the best possible work, delivering value for clients and value for the company. Working in harmony with teams and leaders from different disciplines, the GAD ensures clarity on the strategy for capitalizing on opportunities and overcoming a variety of challenges for customers. As a seasoned client services professional, they are quick to formulate a well-coordinated plans that work for the clients as well as the business.

Through a positive, knowledgeable, and inspirational attitude, it is the GAD’s responsibility to set the tone and mood of the team and to manage the structure and day to day running of their team and portfolio. As manager of people, they are responsible for the performance, growth, and continual development of a senior team of client services professionals.

Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, they proactively drive their teams to seek and convert short- and long-term opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services while safeguarding our profitability.

Their mindset is to go above and beyond client expectations and consistently lead by example. Not restricted by the confines of their job description, they contribute to the smooth running of the company and are committed to playing a key leadership role in building a successful future for our business.

Experience Required:

  • Considerable experience in a client services/ accounts-based role
  • Line management of accounts team of four or more
  • Accountability and growth on portfolio of value £2m+/annum
  • Proven experience in managing and growing a P&L
  • Background in the supply of Digital and/or IT/Development Services
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing and managing integrated campaigns
  • Good understanding of change management and business casing
  • Strategic account planning and forecasting abilities
  • Experience working with global teams
  • C-level relationship management experience.
