SUGCON Europe is being hostedl in London this year. Here’s what makes it a great event for the Sitecore community
The European Sitecore User Group Conference (SUGCON) is being held in London this year. On 4-5 April, SUGCON brings the Sitecore development community together to share industry expertise. 600 attendees will gain knowledge, get inspired and share ideas at the sessions. Some of our Sitecore MVPs and senior developers will be in London this year. if you see them, say hello – they’re a friendly bunch or follow their experience on our Twitter: @bekagool.
Here’s some of the things we’re looking forward to:
SUGCON is a great chance for the Sitecore community to stay up to date with the latest releases and exciting innovations. This year we’re excited to see more around Helix, Sitecore using Docker and Sitecore 9 architecture amongst a long list of subject areas.
There’s always so many strong speakers and interesting sessions at SUGCON, but some that have caught our attention this year include Nick Wesselman’s Helix mutations and changing habitat talk which will be good. He’ll be clarifying some of the goals and intentions for Sitecore Helix and how the community can be a part of any future changes.
There are some sessions centred around the planning with JSS that will benefit the frontend community that we’re keen to attend and learn what Sitecore have to offer.
Naturally though we will be rooting for Kagool’s Jeremy Davis, who will be delivering his presentation, ‘Measure, if you want to go faster’, which details his experiences of business sites that can endure load spikes and what tools to use to spot issues and correct code errors.
For some of our team it’s their first SUGCON experience, for other it’s a welcomed opportunity to catch up with peers. Whatever your experience level, SUGCON is a great time to network with some other Sitecore specialists and exchange tips and ideas.
We’re a top tier Sitecore Partner and specialise in creating smart, digital solutions for enterprises using solely the Sitecore platform.
