Upfield, the leading producer of plant-based products in the world, have an ambition to increase organic brand visibility and Flora’s position on SERPs. We’re partnering them to integrate an ongoing and powerful SEO strategy into their digital marketing programme, which previously relied heavily on paid media investment. We’re driving more traffic to the site and improving impressions for Flora for both branded and non-branded terms.
We began by creating a backlog of major technical fixes, helping solve errors that hindered Flora’s SEO performance, whilst developing a strategy alongside to tackle both on-site and off-site SEO improvements. We created and optimised content to target relevant keywords around product and recipe content, whilst also focusing on quick-win link-building across external channels. The implementation of schema mark-up across FAQ and article pages also contributed to organic reach and brand visibility through the appearance of featured snippets.
We’re continuing to help Flora realise the potential of search marketing, developing SEO-friendly content to increase their organic brand visibility and enable them to fully leverage the capabilities of Sitecore. Creating content around user intent that is more valuable to Google and has driven increased traffic to the site, escalating Flora’s influence in the marketplace.
